When a customer books one of your move packages on bookamove, three things will happen:
- A new move record will be created in your company account.
- You will receive an email with a link to the move.
- You will get a notification in your bookamove menu.
When a customer books one of your move packages on bookamove, three things will happen:
Your customer will have given you the date and time they wish to move, as well as the city. They may also provide street addresses.
As soon as possible, you need to confirm the move.
To confirm the move:
If for some reason you cannot complete the move, you still need to reply. Instead of Confirming the move, click the 3 dots to the right of the blue button then choose Reject Move.
If you do not Confirm or Reject the move quickly, we will be required to recommend a different mover to the customer.
Use the Start and Stop buttons to record your hours worked, even for fixed price moves. Check that Break and Travel times are correct as well as other charges and discounts in the Money section, then click the blue Invoice button at the top.
The customer will now be able to view and download an Invoice for the final cost.
Finally, click the blue Payment button at the top and enter the payment type and amount received (as in image below)
By the end of the move day, you need to send an e-transfer to member_support@bookamove.com for the bookamove shares amount (highlighted in the image below). Make sure to include the move ID in the comment of the e-transfer.
Shares for each move can be seen by opening the Money section then clicking the Shares button in the bottom right.
At any time you can open Accounting in the left side menu and click Bookamove. This will show a history of your moves and payments.
